Senior Software Engineer C++ (f/m/d)

Our unique approach is gradual autonomy with teleoperation first, allowing our drivers – known as Teleoperators – to fully control electric vehicles without actually sitting in them.  

As Senior Software Engineer (C++) (m/f/d), you put features into code. You mainly work on C++ detailed software design and implementation, but you also contribute to architecture decisions or support our systems and safety engineers with valuable feedback.

You have a certain urge to find the best possible solution, to create elegant C++ code that is clean, maintainable, testable, effective & efficient. You leverage code reviews and mentoring to help all our programmers to improve their skills.

You help to set standards and you have a strong drive to reduce complexity in our implementations.

Your experience allows you to devise and drive process improvement initiatives or product improvement through profiling and optimizing existing code.

What do you need for success:

Outstanding C++ programming skills with several years of experience.

Firm grasp on C++17, including the standard library and some familiarity with trends and outlook (C++20, C++23.

Experience with boost, abseil, gsl or other common general support libraries or testing frameworks.
